back home now, in a much better mood :)
hmm, somtimes when i get into a bad mood and feel down, i wonder whether its possible to make myself feel better, in harnessing the power of the mind. the mind is actually such a powerful tool, i guess thats how mind over matter came abt.
for a new definition of sponaneity which has no relation to G and S, read on:
anyway, the point is, was feeling kinda down after chem extra lesson, cos i lost my friend's ezlink card for him. went comp lab and blogged the previous. then, read fi's blog and learnt abt the great ice cream swenson's deal!!! had heard abt t during the weekend, but wasnt sure how long the deal was.. so i msged fi to ask her when the promotion ends, she replied 12 sept. then on walking out i saw tianyi, swe, and kenny, and spontaneously pulled them to go eat swenson's with me :) what great fun! short outing with 3 pple whom i dont see often and also dont get much chance to talk to. was more hyper and excited then :)
thats my definition of spontaneity. spontaneous ice cream pig out session!!! ahhaa.
anyway after leaving swenson's, was waiting at the bus stop for bus (duh!) and gabriel called. he asked if i was in swenson's. anyway the funny part was when he started saying crappy things like "what r u doing behind my back" and "what abt my kiss" wah like quite funny. cos when i saw him and amir after the outreach thingy on sat, they were both mad, when i was leaving them to go off with my class, amir went something like "come give papa a farewell kiss" and not to be outdone, gab went "come give ur boyfriend a kiss". like, diao! out of point, downright stupid, but funny in their context.
oh i forgot to mention that the total cost of icecream was like only $1.60!!! darn cheap. good deal man :P cheaper than all the cornetto ice creams that my mum bought the other time, she bought a box of 28 for like duno how much. $1.80 each lah. gosh.
oh best part was, on my way home, my classmate called and said his ezlink card had been found :) praise God.
hmm.. apparently grad night response is quite bad. ard 30 tables out of 80 tables so far. hahhaa. maybe it'll be cancelled. ha.
on the mrt home with kenny after swe left at tiong bahru, was chatting with him. asking hmi questions and all... like whether he feels close to his class. cos i was initially asking how's grad night response in his class, think he said quite bad. anyway he said he doesnt feel close to his class, somewhat no chemistry. we had the same sentiments, in that taking each other as eg, tho we dont talk much usually, but we feel at ease with each other ard, so much so that we feel closer to each other than to our classmates. haha. the band over class syndrome?
