having quite interesting days, and slacking a whole lot, really more than i ought to, but then again, when will i ever have such an opportunity to totally 'let loose' in a sense? getting lazier, haven had time to sit myself down properly to pen my thoughts down.
in a wacky turn of events (like, really wacky) i got a job giving cheena tuition to a p6 boy. well i guess its the best way, i kill 2 birds with one stone. now i actually have a reason and motivation to brush up my chinese. was at popular the other day flipping thru a p6 chinese assessment book and realized i cant do them. haha haha haha.
oh yes. anyone interested in this Youth Expedition Program? trip to yunnan in june (abt 5-22june) 18 days to teach english and it skills and hol some english summer camp thingy in xiangbi high school. dun worry cos there'll be professionals and we'll just be helping out. affliated to SIF (singapore international foundation) and is heavily subsidised, so each person can expect to pay like peanuts. ok ok, peanuts = $400-$500. 4 days of free and easy shopping and touring too.. think it'll be a gd experience, for like, erm, personal developement and all. haha! but of cos, we'll be in a more rural region in china, so dun expect much of the toilets. interested an get more details from me. i shld be going if all goes well :)
walk. i walk and walk and walk. thank God for my 2 legs! hehe. its something really good to do when u have time (as i presently do) and when u want to save money. transport fee is like... stunaep. the opposite of peanuts in case u're wondering. so yups. =D
yes baked rice is really fulling. or is my appetite shrinking? hmm. treated to nydc's three amigos and brownie with ice cream.. yummy :) i wanna keep in more constant contact with boey... shall write to her. at least she says she'll write back! -grinz-
its 7.05 am now, talking to oct online. which reminded me of the bad dream i had the other night.. still can rmmr the gist of it vividly. gosh! darn morbid. its like.. man... it better never ever come true.. someone pls assure me that dreams have no bearings on reality... at least, not this dream.
anyway,her msn pic is now a cute lil doggy. which reminds me of the doggy i saw yest. was walking home when this dog came up to me and capered ard me... quite tempted to play with it, tho a bit scared of getting bitten. and more scared that it might have some disease (choy!) or something. i'd like to keep a dog sometime. my own doggy to love :)
once in a while, u come across some pple who really make an impression. pple whom r really pple-persons, who are outgoing, gung-ho, and, aiyah my vocab not gd enough. my cousin's friend. really nice person. quite cool also, got to watch her audition gor dj-ing at tampines mall... she's got the voice, the looks, the personality. think its really cool too to be fluent in chinese... and and, haha, got to watch zhang dong liang and richis ren peform live too! not that i really care la, but heh how conincidental that i'd bought zhang dong liang's recent album. and i like buy cds how rarely. hehe.
